FRosted MINI Cinnamon Rolls
Is there anything more indulgent and nostalgic than a warm, frosted cinnamon roll? We don’t think so which is why we’ve created our version of this classic made entirely from whole foods.
If you already have coconut butter on hand, all you need to do is follow the instructions below for baking and frosting Unwrapp’d Cinnamon Roll energy bites.
If you do not have coconut butter on hand, never fear! It only takes a food processor and at least 2 cups of unsweetened shredded coconut. We used this super simple recipe by Minimalist Baker to make coconut butter. It comes out naturally sweet, so we didn’t add anything to ours, but feel free to make it your own with a little salt, more cinnamon, or a touch of sweetener such as maple syrup or honey.
To prepare the bites:
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Place Unwrapp’d Cinnamon Roll bites on a parchment-paper lined cookie sheet or baking pan.
Bake bites for 7 minutes, then flip.
Bake bites for an additional 8 minutes.
Remove bites from oven. Let sit until they are cool enough to handle (we know it’s hard to wait!)
Generously spread coconut butter on Cinnamon Roll bites. Mmmm…you’re welcome.
